Māmaki Patch

Māmaki is an endemic Hawaiian shrub in the nettle family. The leaves are often used for tea and have wonderful healing properties. Māmaki leaves are also an important food source for pulelehua (Kamehameha butterflies). This plant is important for ecosystem restoration because it is easy to grow and benefits both humans and wildlife.
